Where To Eat

Most eateries are within walking distance, these are just a few, see menus in your room or ask staff at Seaview for assistance.

Bella Restaurant is open late every night and is located right across the road from Seaview. Choose to dine in their licenced a la carte restaurant in the evenings or enjoy a cafe style lunch menu as well as the takeaway side to the business with pizza / chips. Their selection of drinks, confectionary, icecream, homemade cakes and real coffee are also handy treats close by.

Queenscliffe Family Hotel was built as the original settlement of ‘Queenscliffe’ was eventuating, the name later changing to Kingscote as we know today. This is the ‘local’s’ favourite drinking hole and with great food and company you are sure to enjoy a friendly conversation or two. Children are most welcome at anytime.

Aurora Ozone Hotel is a large more touristy place on the other end of the main street. They have an extensive dining room and gaming facilities, but the front bar does not welcome children.

K.I. Fresh Seafood and Takeaway is a unique combination of a local fish monger and a typical fish and chip shop. The advantage being that a selection from the fresh fish cabinet can quickly be turned into a steaming hot lunch or dinner. Try all local produce, oysters, crayfish, fresh water Marron, and the very famous King George Whiting without the restaurant prices. Buy by the kilogram or ask them to make up a seafood platter and who needs a restaurant?!
They will even clean & fillet your own catch if you’ve been fishing.

Foodland Supermarket within walking distance is a good place to pick up supplies for a picnic lunch on your days out of town. There are free gas BBQs in various locations around the island as well as at Seaview.
